OBSIDIAN Cover and Blurb

I am so excited to day to share the cover and blurb for my upcoming YA Novel OBSIDIAN, which is Book 1 in a planned 3 book series from Entangled Publishing.  

OBSIDIAN will be available on 12/06/2011


Starting over sucks. 

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, outhouses, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring. Until I spotted my hot neighbor with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth. 

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.
 
The hot alien living next door marked me. 

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and the mark he left on me has me lit up like Las Vegas strip to the bad guys. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don't kill him first, that is.

    How did I not hear about this book? Was it kept secret or something? I am very much interested now and thank god it is coming out this December. I love the cover and OMG. Hottie with the green glowing eyes is so swoon-worthy!

    This books sounds AWESOME! (Loved all your other books too.) But I'm not loving the cover. I like the colors and the guy, but the pose on the girl is...weird, IMHO.

    Anyhoo, can't wait to read it. :-)

    Guy on cover = YES
    Colours = YES
    Blurb = YES
    Girl on cover = NO. Just no.

    Obsidian sounds really great. And that guy on the cover! Hmm... I could definitely spend some time staring at him. He would look gorgeous on my bookshelf. :D

    I can't wait for this! I actually love the cover!
    I wish I could have you on my blog, but my blog is still pretty new, having only 70+ followers, so not many authors like to stop by blogs so small. Oh, well. I still can't wait to read this, and I find it awesome that you live in West Virginia. My dad was born there and we live in Virginia, now. :)

    Jennifer I think the cover is B.E.A.Uuutiful. I am so excited for Half-Blood and now I'm as equally antsy for Obsidian. Love it. Can't wait to sink my teeth into them both.
